Reuse the kony code in othtr enterprise

Question asked by Nivrita Parai on Feb 20, 2017 03:43 EST

Hi, Now the Middleware is totally deatached from the Kony IDE. We can use it seperate way. Is it possible to deploy the kony code in other  Enterprise(i.e other tool). It is nowsupport the cloud. So we can assume that We can use the Kony code in different tool or  Enterprise. Please suggest on this.   Thanks & Regards Nivrita

Hi Nivrita,

From the query we understood that you have Kony application developed using Studio and looking to reuse the same in Visualizer Enterprise.

In that case, if your project/application is developed using Kony Studio 6.0/6.5 then you can reuse the same by exporting the project and import into Visualizer Enterprise 7.x and upgrade the project when it prompts for.

If you have application developed using Kony Studio 5.x then first you need to upgrade the project using Kony Studio 6.0 or higher version and then import the project to kony7.0

Let us know more details in case you are looking for any specific information .

Thanks,

In short, the answer is yes. Please look at the MobileFabric SDK documentation to see the support for native SDKs, Cordova and plain JS. You can use this SDK to build mobile applications that can be used with Kony MobileFabric.
