iOS debugging crash

Question asked by Daniel Rincon on Feb 21, 2017 07:45 EST

Hi! I´m trying to debug an iOS app with Safari debugger. In android works well but for iOS the app crash sometimes and others not and the debugger doesn't says where, only the Xcode says: Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSGenericException', reason: '*** Collection <__NSArrayM: 0x18952850> was mutated while being enumerated.' I think is a code issue with the callbacks of some requests but, ¿how can I make the Safari debugger show the error and where it's happening? I know that the error happens sometimes in one place and sometimes in another because the previous log is different each time. I'm using Kony Studio 6.5 and iOS plugin 6.5.3 v201702141245_r37. Thanks.

Hi Daniel,

Kony Debugger will help you yo debug the application and check the flow by setting the breakpoints. If you set the breakpoint in your code and run the app at the breakpoints the app will stop and the user can know the flow. But if there is any crash in the due to code or any other reason the debugger will not throw any kind of info.

You can get the crash info in the Xcode console only.

Thanks

But for iOS devices the Kony Debugger for Kony Studio doesn't work, only Safari stop the execution. There are a lot of callbacks and threads because when it crash, it's getting a formulary dinamic from the server. Is not there a faster way than manually debug to get the array that is crashing?

Thanks.
