How to trigger an action when a certain segment row enters the screen?

Question asked by Cem Köksal on Jun 17, 2017 08:08 EDT

I have a Segment in FlexScrollContainer which uses data coming from a backend service. First I display only 10 rows. When the 8th row enters the screen I want to call the service again and use addAll method to append the data. I prepared the addAll part and it is working. But I don't know how to trigger it when the 8th row enters the screen, like Facebook etc. Can anyone help me with this? P.S.: I could not fire an event with onReachingEnd, even if did it is not exactly I am looking for. I am on Visualizer 7.3 Best,

Hello Cem

Segment onReachingEnd should work fine . The requirement you are talking about is called pagination and it will be acheived using the segment scrolling events onReachingBegining and onReachingEnd. Can you please helps us with the sample that you are tried so that we can check and provide help on this.

Thanks
