Question asked by Uttam Padukone on Mar 30, 2017 17:52 EDT

In a Horizontal and Vertical FlexScrollContainer, is it possible to freeze the top x DPs and the left y DPs?  Any examples? Thank you in advance. Uttam

Hello - Can anyone answer this question please?

I am looking to have a flexscroll container which scrolls in both Horizontal and Vertical directions - with a frozen top x DPs and frozen y DPs on the left.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Uttam,

Thank you for contacting Kony.

What we understand that you would like to have a scrollcontainer inside a particular area. You can achive it by giving the specific top and left and then giving a width to the scroll container.

If this does not help you, kindly provide us with a screenshot of the expected design at your end or your exact business use case so that we can help you further.

Thank you

Thank you for your response.

Before I attempt to do what you have stated above, I am attaching a pic of what I want to accomplish.

In the picture, the Green Area should scroll left and right AND up and down.

The Blue area (on the left) should remain static when the green area is scrolled left and right BUT should scroll in a synchronized manner with the green area when the green area is scrolled up and down.

Similarly the Yellow area (on the top) should remain static when the green area is scrolled up and down BUT should scroll in a synchronized manner with the green area when the green area is scrolled left and right.

Hope this explains what I am trying to accomplish.

Thank you in advance.

Uttam
